Malard is a Warsaw moving company. We move flats, houses and offices across the city and the towns around it, carry single heavy items, take pianos down a stairwell and clear a flat out when nobody is left to do it. Write to us in English and you get a written quote by email — the rate, the crew size and the time slot, before anyone books a van.
The movers arrive with the van, the tools, blankets and straps. Nothing on this page is a call centre: the same people who answer your email load the van.

What our movers do
One crew, one van, one invoice. If your move needs two of those things at once — a flat emptied and the good furniture stored — it is still one job and one quote.
Home moves
Studios to houses. Packing, carrying, loading, and putting the beds and wardrobes back together at the other end.
Office relocation
Desks, server racks and archives, moved outside working hours so Monday starts in the new office rather than in boxes.
Single items
A sofa, a fridge, a wardrobe bought secondhand. A van with a driver is cheaper than a full crew when there is only one thing to carry.
Pianos and heavy items
Uprights, grands, safes and gym equipment — the jobs a normal removal crew turns down.
Clearing and disposal
Emptying a flat, a cellar or a garage, with the old furniture taken away and disposed of legally rather than left by the bins.
Storage between addresses
When the new place is not ready yet, your things go to a heated, monitored room in the same van run and come back when you say.
Where we work — Warsaw and the towns around it
Every district of Warsaw, from Mokotów and Wola to Białołęka and Wilanów, and the towns on the edge of the city: Piaseczno, Pruszków, Legionowo, Marki, Ząbki, Otwock. Those are covered by the hourly rates below — there is no separate call-out fee inside that area.
Longer moves — to Kraków, Gdańsk or Wrocław, and to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France — are quoted per job. Tell us both addresses and roughly how much there is, and the price comes back in the same email thread.
International removals from Warsaw
We move from Poland to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France, and back. A second base in Belgium serves the western routes. Tell us the two addresses and what is going: the quote covers the whole route, not hours. Details in Polish: international removals and the price list.
How much does a move in Warsaw cost?
We charge by the hour, and what changes the rate is how many people arrive with the van. These are starting rates in złoty per hour (zł/godz. = per hour of work), not a total for the job — the total depends on the floor, the lift, the distance and how much there is to carry, which is exactly what the emailed quote works out.
Van with a driver — from 160 zł/godz.
Transport only. Right when you have friends to carry and just need the van.
Driver who helps — from 190 zł/godz.
One pair of hands on the loading and unloading. Enough for a studio flat.
Two-person crew — from 220 zł/godz.
The one most people choose: a flat of two or three rooms, or a small office.
Three-person crew — from 260 zł/godz.
A house or a bigger flat, including dismantling, packing and reassembly. Weekends and public holidays too.
There is no minimum number of hours, the clock starts when the crew reaches your address, and there is no weekend surcharge. You pay in cash or by transfer, whichever suits you.

We book the date
You confirm by email, we hold the slot, and the crew arrives with blankets, straps and tools. Nothing is charged before the job.
Moving company in Warsaw — questions we get
- How much is a moving company for a local move?
- In Warsaw we work by the hour, and the rate depends on how many people arrive with the van. A driver-only van starts at 160 zł/godz., a two-person crew at 220 zł/godz. and a three-person crew at 260 zł/godz. (zł/godz. means złoty per hour). There is no minimum number of hours — you pay for the time the move actually takes, counted from the moment the crew arrives. A written estimate for your own move comes back by email once we know the floor, the lift and the volume.
- What items will movers not move?
- We do not carry anything flammable, explosive or hazardous — petrol, gas cylinders, solvents, fireworks — and we do not transport live animals or plants that would not survive the journey. Cash, documents, jewellery and medication are better kept with you rather than loaded into the van. Everything else, including pianos, safes and single heavy items, we handle as a normal job.
- Do you speak English?
- We handle enquiries and quotes in English by email — write to us in English and you get an English answer back, with the price, the crew size and the time slot in writing. On moving day the crew works from the address list and the inventory agreed in that email.
- Do you move outside Warsaw and abroad?
- Yes. Warsaw and the surrounding towns are our home area and are covered by the hourly rates. We also run moves across Poland and to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France — those are quoted per job rather than per hour, because the distance and the load decide the price.
